URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR A LEADING STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING  COMPANY IN BAHRAIN

1 -     Tension Design Engineer
      

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in post-tension slab and beam design.

• Strong knowledge of ACI 318, BS 8110, Eurocode 2, TR43, and fib guidelines.

• Proficiency in PT software (ADAPT, RAPT, SAFE, RAM Concept).

• Excellent knowledge of reinforced concrete design and detailing.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural modeling software.

• Strong project management and leadership abilities.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Gulf/Middle East experience in PT slabs for high-rise and commercial buildings preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the structural design of post-tensioned concrete slabs and beams in accordance with ACI, BS, Eurocode, and TR43 standards.

• Prepare detailed post-tensioning calculations, design reports, and shop drawings.

• Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure compliance with PT requirements.

• Optimize PT designs for cost-effectiveness and constructability.

• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and drafters.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors for approvals.

• Conduct structural analysis using software such as ETABS, SAFE, ADAPT, RAM Concept, etc.

• Provide site support during construction and resolve design issues.

• Ensure compliance with client specs, codes, and company standards.

• Manage multiple projects efficiently.
